HONORING THE CRAFTSMANSHIP OF INDIA HAND BLOCK PRINTING

The patterns and colors used in our fabrics are often inspired by nature and are passed down through eight generations. Because the process of Dabu printing is so labor intensive and time consuming, technology screen printing is becoming more popular in the industry. There's a growing focus on reviving traditional crafts like Dabu and promotion of eco-friendly practices. Through our projects we hope to contribute to the future of this century's old craft continuing for many generations to come.

Design

HAND BLOCK PRINT 100% NATURAL COTTON & DYE

Dabu printing refers to the technique utilized to craft the fabric for our entire collection. This method, known as mud-resist hand block printing, hails from Bagru, Rajasthan, India, where a mixture of mud is applied to the fabric using carved wooden blocks, resulting in a distinct textured design.

Each design block takes up to three months to complete.

Tradition
