INTRODUCING THE ART OF FLOW COLLECTION

Get to know us

Green Tara Design was born from Kim Engstrom's love of travel and textiles. While exploring India, she discovered the extraordinary artistry of hand block printing — the craftsmanship, the patience, and the generosity of the women behind it left a lasting impression.

What began as admiration became a calling — to bring this craft home, and to make sure the artists themselves were paid directly and fairly.

That calling grew into a small team across Philadelphia, India, and Kenya — people who believe clothing can be made differently. One piece at a time.

Our mission

At Green Tara Design, we believe in being beautiful inside and out — where compassion, generosity, and respect are woven into every thread. Our sustainable wrap pants and artisan-made designs are crafted by a dedicated team of women tailors who inspire everything we do. Moved by their strength and commitment to their families, we are devoted to ensuring fair wages, safe working conditions, and a manageable workload.

Our vision

We’re more than a fashion label — we’re a global movement for women’s empowerment, mindful living, and ethical craftsmanship. Every purchase supports a triple bottom line philosophy: as Green Tara Design prospers, so do our employees, suppliers, and the communities we serve. Through profit sharing, education, and training, a portion of every sale goes directly back to the artisans who bring our designs to life.

Rooted in sustainability and guided by compassion, Green Tara Design invites you to join us in creating a more peaceful, positive, and equitable future — one handcrafted piece at a time.

We're always looking for talented and passionate people to join our team .
